The 1000 EUR Challenge from www.finanzcheck.de

Professor at Allensbach University on the jury of capital market competition
A competition organized by FINANZCHECK.de calls for the development of an economic concept that deals thematically with a fictitious investment of 1,000 euros. Prof. Dr. Sonja Keppler is one of the four members of the jury.
The coronavirus pandemic has shaken up the national and international economy. Recession worries and highly volatile capital markets are the results of the global spread of the lung disease. A competition organized by FFG FINANZCHECK Finanzportale GmbH (FINANZCHECK.de) calls for the development of an economic concept that deals thematically with a fictitious investment of 1,000 euros. "It must be taken into account that the current corona crisis is causing uncertainty on the markets and stock exchanges worldwide. Part of the competition is therefore to take the current situation into account in the investment concept. It does not matter how the market will actually develop in the coming months," says the competition website https://www.finanzcheck.de/info/1000-euro-challenge/#jump.
What is needed are creative investment ideas that counter the current corona crisis with determination and are promising as an investment. With regard to their competition entry, participants should therefore ask themselves which investments could achieve the best possible return despite the rapid changes on the stock exchange and the financial market. In addition to creativity, FINANZCHECK.de also wants to encourage young people to develop a feel for the financial markets. All participants can send their idea for an investment in times of the coronavirus crisis to wettbewerb@finanzcheck.de by the end of 2020.
Dr. Sonja Keppler, holder of the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at Allensbach University of Applied Sciences in Constance, has been selected as a juror for the competition. She is not only an academic representative in this field, but also has practical knowledge, for example through her work at a venture capital company. As a result, she knows how to develop viable investment concepts and what skills and ideas are needed to make them successful in the long term.
"I am looking forward to working on the jury and am excited to see many exciting concepts. The creative competition is an interesting platform for young talent in the world of finance to develop ideas and test their knowledge and approaches. The fact that a total of 3300 euros is also available as prize money for the three best concepts is a pleasant side effect," says Sonja Keppler.
