Wipäd further education: The most important facts in brief

Our six-month Wipäd training course is aimed at people who work in the field of Erwachsenenbildung but have not completed a teaching degree. This includes, for example, lecturers at master craftsmen and technical colleges, but also people in the teaching profession.

Auch Lecturers in further education courses at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce benefit from our continuing education program. If you are studying and need additional ECTS Credits in the field of education in order to be admitted to a teaching-related Master's degree program, for example, this course is also suitable for you.

The contents of the certificate program were Master in Business Education from Allensbach University (see below). For the certificate you will receive 20 ECTS creditswhich can be credited towards this degree program.

Wipäd further education: Contents

The Wipäd continuing education program consists of three modules, which are also found in the Master's degree program in Business Education. In the first module "Learning and teaching I" (10 ECTS), participants learn how to design learning situations didactically and sequence lessons.

After successfully completing the module, you will be able to comprehensively describe various teaching methods and implement learning situations in complex teaching-learning arrangements. You will be able to didactic annual plans in selected training occupations in a scientifically sound manner. They develop a self-image for the design of learning environments in vocational education and training and as a future player in the vocational education and training system.

The next module (Learning and Teaching II - 5 ECTS) deals with the Designing learning environments in social media. You will learn about the tasks facing teachers and learners in digital media. You will learn about media-didactic concepts of digital media and gain an insight into the factors influencing media-didactic lesson design.

In addition, you will be empowered, didactic concepts and present them. Over time, participants develop an understanding of the process of a media-didactic teaching concept. They will be able to create courses on learning platforms and create explanatory videos.

In the final module (Learning and Teaching III - 5 ECTS) you will learn, develop learning environments in a research-oriented way. They deepen the knowledge acquired in the first module "Teaching and Learning I" and learn to apply it in specific situations. Course participants will be able to design and develop the individual lessons of a series of lessons, taking into account various factors (e.g. learning objectives, skills).

After completing the third module of the Wipäd continuing education course, you will be able to summarize the findings of didactic research on the design of learning environments in a specific educational context. Course participants will also be able to evaluate their own didactic problem solutions according to practical and scientific criteria.

All three modules of the continuing education program conclude with a Portfolio task off. You can submit these online. Examinations with compulsory physical attendance do not take place in this course.

Wipäd further education: Admission and costs

If you would like to start a continuing education program, you will need an initial professionally qualifying university degree. This can be a Bachelor's degree, a Diploma FH or BA or a university diploma. The examination board of Allensbach University decides on exceptions.

The current tuition fees are 495 euros per month. This results in total costs of 2,970 Euro. You have the option of extending your Wipäd training. The duration of the course can be extended by up to six months. There are no additional costs for this.

Learning independent of time and place

Like all degree programs and continuing education courses offered by Allensbach University, the Wipäd continuing education program is online-based. This means that you can complete the university certificate entirely online and without compulsory attendance.
