In the continuing education area of economics, you will find various modules at Bachelor's and Master's level, which can be completed to fulfill ECTS requirements for admission to Master's degree courses or to the preparatory service at vocational schools.
Modules can be booked with content on labor market economics, monetary policy and international financial markets, micro- and macroeconomics, finance, regulatory policy or international economics.
Microeconomics and macroeconomics refer to the study of the behavior of individuals and companies on the one hand and the economy as a whole on the other. This involves topics such as supply and demand, price formation and the role of institutions in the economy. Microeconomics and macroeconomics are important aspects of economics as they help to improve the understanding of the economy and identify possible measures to improve economic performance. These are foundation modules at Bachelor level. All other modules are from the Master's degree programs.
Labor economics refers to the study of labor markets and the interaction between employers and employees. It deals with issues such as unemployment, wages, working conditions and job security. Labor economics can help to understand the dynamics of labor markets and identify possible measures to improve employment.
The Monetary Policy and International Financial Markets module deals with topics such as the role of central banks in controlling the money supply and inflation, exchange rates and international financial transactions.
The Economics and Government module deals with finance and public policy. Public finance refers to the study of public finances, including taxation, public spending and debt management. This involves topics such as government deficits, tax reforms and public investment. Regulatory policy refers to the role of the state in regulating the economy and the provision of public goods and services. Would you like to study economics but don't want to complete a full degree?
In our continuing education area, you can book individual or several modules from the Bachelor's or Master's degree courses and receive a university certificate and transcript upon successful completion. Examination results can be recognized if you wish to complete a Bachelor's or Master's degree course at a later date. You can also complete university certificates via distance learning, i.e. online, without attendance and without compulsory attendance. After passing the module examination, you will receive ECTS and a corresponding certificate of achievement.

The additional modules are also intended in particular for students from other universities who need to collect ECTS in selected areas. It is possible to start at any time and examinations can be taken almost every month. It is therefore possible to complete the module at short notice.
