Studying without a high school diploma

Achieve a university degree flexibly alongside your job - even without a high school diploma!

The permeability and recognition of professional qualifications for university studies enables access to the Bachelor's distance learning program even without a high school diploma. We are sure that you will achieve your goal together with us. You can also be admitted to the following degree programs without an Abitur:

We are pleased to be able to offer you alternative access routes to the Bachelor's distance learning program in addition to the traditional Abitur:

1. entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences

With the Fachhochschulreife in your pocket, you can immediately register for a Bachelor's degree course of your choice with us.

2. admission without Abitur via an already completed advanced training examination

If you have already successfully completed a subject-specific training course, you can complete a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration distance learning with us. Subject-specific training courses include, for example

Business economist VWA
Business economist HWK
Business economist HWO
State-certified technician
Specialist IHK
Accountant IHK

Commercial specialist IHK

Conclusion of national training regulations

If you already have a Subject-specific advanced training examination you can be admitted to the Bachelor's distance learning program.

3. admission via the aptitude test for professionally qualified persons

If you have at least two years of commercial training and up to three years of professional experience in a relevant field, you have the opportunity to participate in the Aptitude test for professionally qualified persons and thereby gain admission to the university for the Bachelor of Business Administration and Management (B.A.) to obtain this qualification. You can take this aptitude test at Allensbach University.

4. foreign educational qualifications

Please submit foreign educational qualifications to us for examination. If you have a foreign university entrance qualification that entitles you to admission to undergraduate degree courses in your home country, you can either take an entrance examination at our university or be admitted to a trial course.

5. trial course for professionally qualified students

You can be admitted via the trial study program if you

have completed at least two years of commercial or administrative vocational training and
have up to three years of professional experience in a relevant field.

You will also need:

German language skills at level B2 and
English language skills at level B1 (according to CEFR).

Before you start your studies, we will conduct a mandatory consultation with you in which the content, structure and requirements of the degree program as well as the preparation options are explained

Procedure of the trial study program

The trial course lasts a maximum of four semesters (up to two years).
During this time, you will complete modules worth at least 40 ECTS credits from the compulsory area of your chosen Bachelor's degree program.
You study under regular study conditions - all courses, examinations and requirements correspond to those of the regular degree program.
After successfully completing the 40 ECTS, the trial study program is considered passed.
If you pass, you will receive the final authorization to study for your chosen degree course, and all your achievements will be fully recognized.
