Accounting studies: The contents in brief

Our accounting degree program consists of four modules that originate from our degree programs. Three modules are part of the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Another module comes from our Master's degree programs.

You will earn a total of 24 ECTS credits, which you can transfer in full to a subsequent degree program at Allensbach University. Credit transfer to other universities is also possible under certain circumstances.

The course "Additional modules accounting and taxes" currently comprises the following modules:

• Auffrischungskurs Bilanzierung und Jahresabschluss
• Wichtige Deutsche Steuerarten
• Internationale Rechnungslegung

An important part of the accounting course is the module "Fundamentals of Accounting and Annual Financial Statements". Here you will learn all about the Bookkeeping, record-keeping obligations and account management. From the posting of individual business transactions to the final balance sheet, all important aspects are addressed.

In the additional module "Important German tax types" you will learn the elementary basic concepts of taxation know. You will learn how to use these basic terms in discussions and assign individual measures of the taxation procedure. With regard to income tax, you will be able to assess whether there is limited or unlimited tax liability after completing the accounting course. You will be able to differentiate between individual types of income and assess situations in terms of their tax impact.
