International Economics Seminar: The most important facts in brief
Our International Economics Seminar comprises an economics module from the Allensbach University Master's program. In terms of content, it initially deals with Relevance of political decisions for the economy. The relevance of economic decisions for politics is also a point that comes up in this phase.
Globalization is given a lot of space in our International Economics Seminar. The participants learn to economic foundations of globalization to understand globalization. We also look at the relevance of the various theories to explain globalization. In addition, the course deals with the importance of investment and technological progress for long-term growth. You will also learn to recognize the long-term limits to growth critically scrutinize.
The International Economics Seminar concludes with a dissertation that you write on your own initiative. This academic research achievement is rewarded with a university certificate. You will also receive 5 ECTS Credit Pointswhich you can find on the Master in Business Education anrechnen lassen können.
Structure of the course
Our International Economics Seminar covers a wide range of topics. In addition to trade policy following areas in the foreground:

We also look at the reasons for the political economy of economic policy. Economic growth vs. international income disparities, the Principal-agent problem and the Median voter theorem are additional topics that are covered in the International Economics Seminar.
The VWL module includes three subject-specific learning units. These comprise three study letters including assignments and solutions. Control and submission tasks are completed for practice. Academic support is provided via our digital campus.
International Economics Seminar: Duration, admission and costs
Our International Economics Seminar lasts four months (standard period of study). You can extend the course by a further four months if circumstances require it. Participants should have knowledge of economics at Bachelor level. The total duration of the online events is approx. six hours.
The costs for the course are currently 690 Euro. This makes the International Economics Seminar one of the most affordable continuing education programs offered at Allensbach University.
