Compatibility of MBA studies, career and private life

An MBA student at Allensbach University describes his experiences during his studies:

Für mich war es schon immer wichtig gewesen, mich persönlich und beruflich weiterzubilden. Nach meinem erfolgreich abgeschlossenem Diplom-Ingenieur Studium in Chemieingenieurwesen, habe ich in verschiedenen Bereichen und Positionen gearbeitet und mich immer mehr von „rein technischen“ Tätigkeiten zu einem Konglomerat aus technischen, kommerziellen und Führungsaufgaben hin entwickelt.

I saw an additional MBA course as an opportunity to take the next step in my profession and thus optimize myself for further management and leadership roles in the future. However, the time required for such a course and, in particular, the long duration of the course made me hesitate at first, as it seemed difficult for me to reconcile this with my job and family. Motivated by the support of my family, I began to inform myself about the wide range of distance learning courses on offer. (read full report)
