Research plays an important role at Allensbach University: we support a number of doctoral projects by our graduates. The results of research activities at our university are published in our academic journal, the "Journal for interdisciplinary economic research", and thus made accessible to the public.

With the specialist congress "Bodenseeforum - Crisis, restructuring and turnaround", which takes place regularly in July, Allensbach University, together with the DIAI e.V. and the Bund deutscher Rechtspfleger - Landesverband Baden-Württemberg, offers what is now a cross-border platform for practical and academic exchange on the topics of crisis, restructuring and insolvency law.
The Institute for SMEs and Craft Trades at Allensbach University of Applied Sciences was involved in a research project funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism as part of the "Zukunftsinitiative Handwerk 2025". The study "New Work: The influence of megatrends and business model innovations on work in the craft trades of the future - concretized in the carpentry trade and with recommendations for action for companies, craft organizations and politics" was published in March 2022.
