Organizing quality management in educational institutions

The university certificate "Organizing Quality in Educational Institutions" enables you to understand the connections between quality management, pedagogical evaluation and educational controlling and implement them in your professional practice. You will be taught strategies, concepts and procedures for managing the success of educational work and shown how you can implement these in your institution. By studying the university certificate, you will understand the basic process steps of quality assurance and development. In order to be able to prove the effectiveness and efficiency of educational work, you will also deal with the possibilities and limitations of educational controlling.

After successfully completing this module, they will therefore be able to differentiate the concept of quality depending on the domain and name and evaluate quality management systems of educational organizations (including vocational schools). They will also learn to distinguish between different forms of evaluation in educational institutions and will be able to analyze and assess case studies in vocational education against the background of quality processes. They will be able to discuss and assess international approaches to quality management and design an evaluation concept for a vocational training institution in a selected area. The university certificate "Organizing Quality in Educational Institutions" concludes with a case study (term paper) and can be fully credited towards the Master's degree course in Business Education.
