Political institutions, actors and dynamics of the Federal Republic in focus

In this certificate program, you will learn about the political core and mediation system of the Federal Republic of Germany in all its complexity. This includes the development and functions of parliament, administration and the judiciary as well as the federalism that structures our country.

They deal intensively with the German party and interest group system, understand the significance of social movements and gain a sound insight into electoral systems and political election campaigns.

In addition, the program teaches you concepts and methods of institutional analysis, opinion and election campaign research as well as political management. This will prepare you to systematically analyze and strategically support political processes.
