Marketing courses at Allensbach University: General information

Our marketing continuing education courses are aimed at interested parties who would like to further their education in the field of marketing and communication, but do not want to complete a full degree course. In our continuing education area, we offer individual modules from our Bachelor's and Master's degree programs that you can combine as you wish.

Like our degree programs, the continuing education courses completed online. There are neither attendance events nor compulsory attendance. After passing the module examination, you will receive ECTS credit and a corresponding certificate of achievement. If you take up studies at our distance learning university at a later date, you can present the certificate and shorten the duration of your studies.

Admission and duration of marketing training courses

In principle, Allensbach University's marketing training courses are open to all interested parties. You do not need to have a degree to participate. However, a good knowledge of English is required for some continuing education courses (especially for the course "Business English").

The duration of study varies from course to course. While the certificate course "Marketing Management" is designed to last four months, other marketing training courses last up to eight months. Right in the middle is the course "PR and digital communication", which lasts six months. Allensbach University currently offers five marketing training courses. Another offer was the negotiation training for purchasing and sales, which took place at the beginning of 2023. Should there be a new edition, we will inform you about it on our website. Below you will find an overview of our five current marketing training courses, in which you can can join at any time.

Marketing training "Business English"

The Business English certificate course is one of our most popular marketing training courses. The course comprises one module of the Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration. Participants acquire situational oral and written communication skills. Essential topics of English grammar are covered.

The course participants learn how to use their skills in business life. appear confident. The focus is on frequently used expressions and idioms as well as phrases that you need for business correspondence.

To be admitted, you must have English language skills at level B1 of the CEFR provide evidence. The examination is a Submission task processed. The duration of the course is four months (can be extended by a further four months free of charge). The costs are 120 Euro per month (480 euros in total).

Marketing training "Journalistic writing and corporate publishing"

This course deals with the main tasks of PR and communication in the digital world. Marketing training "Marketing Management"

One of the most compact marketing training courses we currently offer is the "Marketing Management" course. In the four months it takes to complete this popular certificate course, you will deal with the content-related and conceptual basics of marketing. You will learn how to develop a strategic marketing concept. You will also learn about strategic environmental and company analysis as the basis for a marketing concept.

The Marketing research is a central component of this online-based training course. You will learn the most important tools and methods that companies use to find out what customers want and where investments need to be made. Further topics of the course are:

The study costs 165 euros per month (660 euros in total) and concludes with a submission task.
