Business law training: First module (BGB, contract and consumer law)

Our business law training offers you content on high academic level. You will first receive an introduction to the BGB and the Contract and consumer law. They are taught the most important concepts and techniques of commercial law. Participants learn to distinguish and interpret contract types such as sales contracts, service contracts, loan agreements and contracts for work and services from the special law of obligations.

In the next part of the business law training course, participants are given an overview of the Copyrightthe industrial property rights und das Competition and antitrust law. We deal with the objectives of the respective laws. After completing the module, you will be able to analyze legal issues, identify legal problems and solve simple cases in professional practice.

At the end of the module BGB, contract and consumer law for business students, you will work on a Submission task. You can have all of the work you have completed credited towards the B.A. in Business Administration and Management. After successfully completing the module, you will receive 6 ECTS credited.

Continuing education in business law: Second module (corporate, commercial and insolvency law for business students)

The second additional module for business administration students provides you with knowledge in the area of Commercial, corporate and insolvency law. At the end of the module, you will be able to assess the benefits and liability risks of certain legal forms and make an informed decision.

Accordingly, you will be able to assess the requirements for founding a company and evaluate the responsibilities and bodies of the respective company. German insolvency law is another aspect that is the focus of the second module of the business law course. You will learn about different types of insolvency proceedings and procedural principles.

In the area of commercial law, participants deal with commercial transactions such as the "acquisition in good faith" and the merchant's auxiliary persons. Bona fide acquisition" is understood to mean the acquisition of ownership from a non-entitled party through a legal transaction in which the lack of entitlement is replaced by the legal certificate.
