Project management seminar: Basic information

Our project management seminar covers important aspects of the management discipline "project management". You will gain insights into project development and be introduced to the theoretical background. We will give you valuable practical tips, reveal the secrets of success and show you tried-and-tested methods that you can use to optimize your projects. even more successfully.

To register for the project management seminar, you need a Completed vocational training and corresponding practical experience. It is helpful if you have already completed smaller projects. You can start the course at any time - there are no fixed enrollment deadlines at our distance learning university.

The university certificate is acquired online. There is no compulsory attendance or attendance events. The seminars take place online and take approx. 6 hours per module in claim. As proof of performance, you will complete a submission of max. 15 pages. You will receive 5 ECTS credits for the certificate.

Structure of the training

The project management seminar is divided into three areas. In the area of "Project organization and project planning", the focus is on the profit and benefit-oriented design of success factors and adherence to costs and deadlines with the desired quality. You will learn how to plan projects realistically.

Another topic is the Risk management. Participants learn how to analyze projects specifically for potential risks and take appropriate risk management measures. This section also covers the basics of project marketing and the correct assessment of the importance of project culture.

The most extensive subject area of the project management seminar revolves around the Leadership in projects and how to deal with crises. You will learn to understand the basic organizational structure of projects and find out how to operate professional multi-project management.

Further aspects are:

• Phases of team development / team building
• Differentiation between the most common project management standards
• Fundamental differences between classic and agile approaches

Duration and costs of the project management seminar

The duration of the project management seminar is six months. If circumstances require it, you can extend the duration of the course by a further six months without incurring any additional costs. The total cost of the seminar is currently 990 Euro.
