Professorship in Human Resource Management and Work and Organizational Psychology (m/f/d) (50 %)
We are looking for a scientifically and practically proven personality with a teaching and research focus in human resource management as well as in work and organizational psychology. This professional expertise is to be demonstrated in particular through relevant scientific publications and teaching experience.
In teaching, the professorship particularly represents the fields of human resource management and work and organizational psychology in our bachelor's and master's degree programs. The willingness to further develop existing course offerings and to participate in the design of new degree and continuing education programs is expected.
In the field of research, application-oriented research priorities at the interface of human resource management, organizational psychology, and management are of particular interest. These include, for example, organizational transformation processes, leadership in transformation processes and adaptive organizational contexts, company interventions to promote mental health, and the development and application of scientific methods in the context of management and organizational consulting. Participation in research projects and in the further development of the university's research profile is expressly desired.
Allensbach University offers its students a modern, part-time distance learning program with a wide range of digital teaching and learning opportunities. We therefore expect our professors to be willing to develop and continuously improve media-supported teaching formats within the framework of the university's quality standards. Experience in digital higher education and distance learning is an advantage.
The appointment requirements for professors pursuant to the Baden-Württemberg Higher Education Act must be met accordingly.
These include in particular:
- a completed university degree,
- educational aptitude,
- the special qualification for academic work, which is demonstrated by a doctorate (at least grade „cum laude“),
- as well as special achievements in the application or development of scientific findings and methods in at least five years of professional practice, of which at least three years must have been practiced outside the university sector.
- Furthermore, we expect relevant academic qualifications in the field of the professorship as well as very good knowledge of German (C2) and English (C1).
