Lecturer for Digital Finance and ESG in English (m/f/d) (freelance basis)

The module Digital Finance and ESG (5 ECTS) is a compulsory module in our Master's degree program in Finance (M.Sc.). It is taught in English and covers the following topics:

  • Digital Finance and Sustainable Finance/ESG focusing on digital business models and FinTechs, innovative financing, investment and payment solutions, AI, big data and blockchain, as well as IT security and regulatory requirements.
  • In the ESG sector, the focus is on sustainable investment approaches, ESG criteria and evaluation processes, as well as sustainability reporting and regulatory frameworks.

Your profile:

  • You possess a Bachelor's and Master's degree relevant to the fields of study, or a comparable degree (e.g., university diploma or state examination).
  • Ideally, you can demonstrate a special aptitude for academic work through a doctorate.
  • You already have relevant teaching experience at a university.
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience in distance learning and in the development of media-supported distance learning courses and study materials.
  • You have several years of professional experience in finance and financial digitization.

Your tasks:

  • Imparting scientifically sound knowledge with a high degree of practical relevance
  • Implementation of online presence lectures
  • Creation of instructional videos for asynchronous use
  • Creation and grading of exams (these take place online)
  • Individual support for students
  • Supervision of theses
