Our health management degree program is a practical and project-oriented course that prepares you for challenges in the health and prevention sector of companies. In view of the ageing workforce in many companies, this area is becoming increasingly important.

This specialization introduces you to planning, decision-making and implementation processes in occupational health management. The course content is primarily based on health science topics. Business management topics and issues that affect the field of management are also taken into account. In the first four semesters of your health management studies, you will learn the basics of business administration. You will receive an introduction to scientific work and deal with topics such as following topics:

Health management studies: Duration and admission requirements

The duration of our Health Management course is 36 months (full-time study). You can extend your studies at any time free of charge. The fees for an extension of up to 50 percent are included in the tuition fees. These currently amount to 375 euros per month.

The admission requirements stipulate that applicants must have at least a subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences. A professional qualification plus advanced training (at least 400 hours) as well as a professional qualification plus aptitude test in accordance with the Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Act (LHG).

Applicants for the Health Management course may be able to receive credit for previous academic achievements and further training (e.g. Business Administration IHK).
