Financial market training - Option 1: Further training "International Financial Markets"

The first opportunity to complete a financial market training course at Allensbach University is the certificate course "International financial markets". The continuing education program includes an economics module from the Master's program of our distance learning university and aims to improve your strengthen economic competencies.

The following topics are covered, among others:

  • Interest rates and their development: Theoretical background
  • Economic fluctuations and their significance for the financial markets
  • Monetary policy of the European Economic and Monetary Union (EMU)
  • Historical overview of exchange rates and international transactions
  • Influence of the economy and growth on consumption and investment

After successfully completing the financial market training, you will receive a University certificate and 5 ECTS credits. These can be credited to various degree programs (e.g. the Master's in Finance - see below).

Like all our degree programs and continuing education courses, the financial market training course "International Financial Markets" online takes place. There are neither attendance events nor a general attendance requirement. The final exam can be taken at one of our nationwide examination centers.

The costs for the training are 690 Euro. If you keep to the standard period of study, you will reach your goal after 4 months. An extension of up to 2 months is already included in the tuition fees. Participants are required to Knowledge of economics at bachelor's level expected.

Financial market training - Option 2: Master's degree program "Master Finance M.A."

Participants in the part-time "Master Finance". This degree program has a length of 24 months (full-time) and is aimed at Specialists from the financial sector. Asset managers and advisors can also sharpen their professional profile with the Master's in Finance.

The Master's program prepares participants for management tasks in the world of finance. Topics include corporate governance, management and accounting. Risk management and credit assessment also play a key role in this financial market course.

In the third semester, students have the opportunity to complete a Focus on content to set. You can choose from the following directions:

  • Wealth Management
  • Family Office Management
  • Accounting and Taxation
  • Banking

Den Abschluss des Studiums bildet die Preparation of your Master's thesis. You will be supervised online by our lecturers. Once you have completed all the examinations, we will award you the academic degree "Master of Arts - Finance", which entitles you to do a doctorate. Alternatively, we also award the degree "Magister Artium".

The tuition fees for the Master's in Finance amount to a total of 14,160 Euro (payable in 24 monthly installments of 590 euros each). The course has been accredited by the Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency ZevA.
