At the fourth Lake Constance Forum "Insolvency administration and restructuring in transition - setting out for new shores in the DACH region" at Allensbach University, experts will discuss reorganization and restructuring.
On July 6 and 7, Allensbach University will host the fourth annual Lake Constance Forum for Crisis, Restructuring and Turnaround together with the German Institute for Applied Insolvency Law (DIAI). The cooperation partner is the Association of German Rechtspfleger Landesverband Baden-Württemberg. Following the cancellation of the 2020 event, the forum is to take place physically this year if the decline in corona numbers and the lifting of restrictions allow. It will also be possible to participate digitally in parallel.
Few things are shaping the fundamental change in the restructuring and reorganization world as much as the discussions surrounding the upcoming implementation of the EU directive on preventive restructuring.
In five major thematic areas, the Lake Constance Forum 2021 will not only address the changing role of creditors in insolvency proceedings, but will also focus specifically on tax issues in cross-border insolvency proceedings. The special forms of cooperation between courts, insolvency administrators and restructuring advisors across factual and legal borders will also be the subject of the expert presentations. The focus will once again be on the Germany-Austria-Switzerland region and the status of implementation of the EU directive on preventive restructuring in these countries. Renowned speakers from academia and practice will provide a glimpse into the "kitchen of law".
"In 2019, we again realized that the Lake Constance Forum has become a must for restructuring practitioners and professionals from the banking and finance industry. This naturally encourages us to continue on this path and to consolidate and further develop the Lake Constance Forum as the leading format for insolvency, reorganization and restructuring in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the future. The corona crisis has caused an interruption. Now we are starting again," emphasizes University Chancellor Timo Keppler. Further information is available at www.kongress-bodenseeforum.de. Participation costs 230 euros, the forum is recognized as mandatory training for tax consultants (DStV e.V.).
